A bridal heirloom in the truest sense, this floor-sweeping ghera (lehenga skirt) is hand embroidered in the finest Lucknowi Chikankari on flowing pure georgette the 400-year-old, royal craft of Lucknow.
Its panels alternate between delicate hand Chikankari and intricate haath jaali, then come alive with hand-worked rajwada zardozi, lustrous Japanese pearls, fine sequins and cutdana, crowned by a regal gold-and-maroon paisley (keri) border.
The effect is quietly majestic, a piece made to make a bride feel like a begum.
